Kinney Creek Brewery

Their strength is the large, unique, and most importantly tasty selection of craft seltzer. The flight are a little more expensive, but the portion is larger than most craft breweries (seemed to be 5-6oz). The place had one of my favorite aesthetics of a brewery, lots of games, unique touches, and in always enjoy growler collections. The service was great as well. If I lived in Rochester I would be a regular here, and I will no doubt stop by and pick up a crowler or two when I'm in the area.

With 23 brewed beers on tap Kinney Creek covers the bases. If you have read previous posts of mine you know I really prefer darks over Lights and IPAs. On my last stop they had a Belgian strong, Belgian tripel, another strong, red, alt, smoked Porter, regular Porter, stout, s'mores stout, scotch, 2 lagers, dill lager, 2 Pale ales, a sour, 2 IPA, NE IPA, Imperial IPA, and they rotate several brews. Oh...i you are into seltzer, they have 27 on tap.....yes 27, I counted. Everything I had was good, nothing blew my sock off, s'mores was camp fire good, but really, all good. They have cool random bar games, shuffleboard, couches, bar, cool log top tables, and the staff I talked to were super friendly. This is a solid, local brewery, with really friendly staff. It's not just a checkbox on my Brewery list, I will be back.

This brewery had a wonderful bartender and a plethora of beer and hard seltzer options. There are loads of free games to play inside from shuffleboard to bags. There is a large patio out front with a tent (for shade from the sun). You can park for free in the back of the building (ignore the sign from the neighboring food store that says you cannot, as the bartender confirmed you can and should park there). Prices were reasonable. Their seltzers were particularly good, however, I found their beer to be significantly lacking in some areas. Overall, if this place just focused on seltzers, it would be a 5 star place. However, for a Brewery (you think of beer) and most of their beer was unnotable and would justify a 3 star rating). The highlight on the beer was the imperial stout. Absolutely wonderful! This place has promise! Also note that if you bring in a unique growler (from another Brewery) that the Brewery does not have, they will give you one of their growler and a fill for free. One other note for the summer: their was no AC inside, so it was very hot. If you're sitting outside it's no big deal, but if you want to be inside, the temperature was pushing what felt like was at least the low 80s.

We wanted to go in to give them some business and also support the Kōkua Project for Maui. Unfortunately they are not ADA-compliant. No accessible parking. We were told to park down the street at the old Zorba's parking lot. The only wheelchair access is through the Asian supermarket's busy parking lot which is dangerous for a wheelchair user. Edit to add: After clarification from the owner and better information on the website. We tried again. Between the rough public sidewalk and the fairly high threshold at the front door, accessibility is not great but we managed to get in and had some good beer and a pizza. Upped the review from one star to three. If access was not so difficult, I give five stars.
